LADIES MELA IN JINNAH UNIVERSITY FOR WOMEN

The glittery sparkling MELA held in Jinnah University of Women on Saturday, 26 February,2011, Karachi. Since the beginning the mela had very quick and effective response girls seemed very happy with stalls arranged by different departments.The stall by Efroze Pharma was center of attention for girls because they were discussing the women problems, told them how to celebrate and make your special days memorable. The visiting girls were freely asking their queries related to the issues they faced in their daily routine life and the visitors were presented with Efrodol goody bags which actually made girls more happy. Efrodol team also organised the lucky draw in which the winners had special gifts.
The face painting  and mehndi stalls by mass communication 3rd year grabbed a lot of attention almost every girl had face painting on their faces and on mehndi stall girls were waiting for their turns. The new first year batch of mass communication department highlighted themselves by wearing t- shirts with the logo of MASS COMMUNICATION.
The SAMA TV and DUNYA news channel came to do the coverage of the mela, they also asked question about Earth hour day that either we should celebrate this day or not. Majority said we should not celebrate this day when KESC already celebrating it for 3 hours everyday.
The food stalls were amazing specially the pani pori and spaghtetti, the samosaz were also very delicious but i loved the pani pori and spaghetti. I just could not stop myself from buying again and agian when i started having pani pori. Suits, bedsheets and other stuff related to household sold out there with discount many girls were observed buying suits for themselve, for family and friends.Swings placed there was the another source of fun and enjoyment for the girls in mela. 


Around 5000 girls visited the mela and saved memorable memories to remember as unforgettable memories. At the end of the days stalls were shut down. visitors left for their homes with a thought  that i had a lot of fun!
